Vibe Check is a playful entertainment app with a public community leaderboard. This policy explains exactly what is and isn't shared.
When you take or choose a photo for a vibe check, a resized copy is sent through our Supabase service to NVIDIA NIM for automated analysis. The result includes a score, factor breakdown, and playful caption. The analyzed photo is not added to the public leaderboard unless you choose Post to Board.
If you post, the photo, chosen title, score, generated caption, and account identifier are stored by our service and become publicly visible in Vibe Check. Only post photos of yourself or people who agreed to be shared. Before public storage, a reduced copy is sent through our Supabase service to NVIDIA NIM for a fail-closed safety check. If the check flags unsafe material or is unavailable, no public post is created.
We do not collect your contacts or location, we show no advertising, and we do not track you or use third-party advertising analytics.
Supabase provides database, storage, and edge-function infrastructure. Vibe Check's Edge Functions do not intentionally keep separate copies of scoring or safety requests after returning a result. NVIDIA NIM processes the resized image used for automated scoring and public-post safety. NVIDIA may process or log submitted content for security, service operation, and product improvement under its API terms and privacy policy, which govern NVIDIA's retention. If scoring is unavailable, the app falls back to on-device image analysis. Public posts are stored separately by Supabase until account deletion, moderation removal, or service cleanup.
Open Profile, then choose Delete account and confirm with Sign in with Apple. The app deletes public posts and stored photos associated with your verified Apple identity, comments attributable to you, your moderation records and identifiable feedback, invites you created, and redemption details on invites you used. It then removes your local sign-in, private history, and profile photo. If the server deletion cannot finish, the app keeps your account signed in and asks you to try again.
The deletion service exchanges the fresh Apple authorization code and revokes the resulting Sign in with Apple token before it reports success. It also invalidates existing Vibe Check sessions. You can contact us for help with a deletion request.
You can report any post (it is hidden from you immediately and reviewed within 24 hours; violations are removed) and block any user to hide all of their posts. Objectionable content and abusive users are not tolerated.
We use UserDefaults for your local identity, profile settings, preferences, blocked
list, reactions, and community-guideline agreement. Your private vibe history and profile photo are
stored in the app's local container.
Vibe Check is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
